Went to the vault for this signed original to wish you a glorious Easter weekend...
Would appreciate any thoughts you might have about what the item dead center amidst the bunnies on the nicely textured green grass might be?
As a young artist, I was obviously into bunnies, but I wish I could go back to my six-year-old self and ask why on earth is the lone bunny upper left going away from the Easter parade?
I am particularly partial to the gentleman bunny lower left formally attired for the Easter parade.
Hope you find lots of Peeps in your Easter basket!
There is no doubt in my mind that you put a wheel on that pull cart. And I agree with John’s opinion that he was throwing up too much chocolate consumption.
I loved your last blog post and “Easter” picture... By the way, I think the rabbit at the top of the picture who’s looking the other way is holding some sort of instrument - maybe part of the “rabbit marching band”.... Regards, MT
I think the bunny going left is really a magician and the structure behind him is a magician's podium and he is going to do lots of amazing tricks for the passing parade. Love your sense of fun and whimsy.
Looks like a family marching in the parade. Adult son is pulling a cart where his mother is seated. (His wife is home making Easter dinner for the family after the parade). His dad is formally dressed and at the back making sure the young bunnies stay together. The bunny facing the other direction is entertaining those who parade by. That is his music stand --could be a keyboard and he has a musical shaker in his hand. He is looking at the next group coming in the parade.
PS looks like the cart has 2 wheels - just difficult for the artist to show 3 dimension at 6 yrs old.
And a good sized piece of art work so…
Hmmmmm. I think the stand in the middle is the Bunny Check-in, where all the bunnies must go to get their parade permit. The bunny walking away forgot his pants so he couldn't get his permit. He's going home to put some pants on.
I'm sure the fixture in the middle is a bird bath which would make sense. The bunny walking away from the parade is looking for a place to throw up having consumed too much chocolate. Either that or he's going for his afternoon nap. Which reminds me...............
