Drawing Salon at it again!
This time, we chose one of Joaquin Sorolla's most important paintings, Maria of La Granja in anticipation of the year's most exciting event at The San Diego Museum of Art.
Art Alive fills the museum with flowers of every color, fragrance and scent in beautiful displays interpreting special works of art throughout the galleries. The Rotunda is always a wonderland of unbelievable floral display.
My best girlfriends from Ventura will be among the first in the door on Friday morning to see the spectacular arrangements, and the art and the real deal, Maria! Isn't she lovely?
By the way, there is one real artist among our little drawing group. You shouldn't have any trouble selecting Renato's work...
